Question for the A/FUEL guys. What happens to the exhaust temp. when you go on the high side? Before and after would be nice.

I'm assuming 0 is the high side? wow! what happens when you mat it?

    Go away looser?

That palmer thing. Your not proud of it are you? cause I think it sucks.LOL no really my cousin was palmers quarterback about ten years ago, they came in second in state.

That is kind of what I was expecting though. I would have guessed 500 low 1000 high. let me guess again : at the hit it doesn't go up very fast because of the volume of fuel unless you back off the timing very far?

He is rolling into the high side at the marker just prior to staging, approx -5.6 and "0" is where he decks it at the beginning of the run.

Looks like a warm up to me by the boxes on the top 2700 rpm.

sorry, i should have been more clear. it is a actual run, so the computer gets shut off and back on right before the car stages. i start the time when the flowmeter starts to show a increase.
you can see that the engine is idling at around 2700, and then goes to around 2200 on the high side. the 2700 rpm is just where i had the cursor at the moment.

not real proud of the palmer thing....thats why i moved. lol

Oops. I assumed the temps went up on the high side because I can make a n/a injected alky motor pop and crackle by slowing down a high idle with more fuel (fatten the bv). heats it up quick.

I noticed looking through some of your posts that you sometimes get deleted too. maybe an Alaskan thing?

    Thanks for sharing.

I was just thinking about what would happen if you advanced the cam for that 2% cut and was wondering about where the temps start and end at. Id like to see a comparison between low and high percentages but its probably eary for that and I don't want get anyone more p...d off.

The hole deal smells like bull shit. The C blower boats are 4/10's quicker than they were before. A couple nitrous roots deals run with 'em though.

That gizmo would put the blown cars right in the ball park with A/FUEL at 98% but NHRA doesn't want to detract from the Force show.

Any chance we can get Manzo to post the computer screen of one of his 5.40runs?
