i think it is a can / jug that has a hose that connects to the distrubtion block via hydraulic quick connect...

the vacum from the engine sucks the meth/ alky into the engine..
this can be either mounted up on top of engine or be held, or sit on the ground..

they start the engine with a bottle ( 3 way OFF) , the engine then draws fuel in, warm up on the alky, the the driver turns fuel ON...

    the hose is then removed...

this process can be reversed, to save time winding over engine after it is shut off on nitro...

Probably the start up/warm up tank. When they take it off things get a lot louder.

Is this thing the same as a "primer"? I used to have a primer hooked up so that all I had to do was hit a switch and it shot gas into the alcohol injector. After it "kicked off" I turned the switch off. Now I have a blown altered and just spray some gas out of a bottle into the butterflys to get things going.

Sorry that I am so "dense" on this, but it just doesn't seem to make sense!;)

Doesnt matter dude, take the appropriate steps to clear a motor
that has ran on nitro,..you still need to blow the main line out, threw the
barrel valve which clears all the lines to your nozzles, with plugs out, including
any down nozzle lines in your heads,..then windmill..
    Quick discreption theres more

Dont take ANY short cuts,.....BOOOOOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But yes its a primer/ warm up type tank.
