Has anyone had any luck with staighting titanium valves? not from heat but piston contact, valves were new otherwise sure. just for spare heads . bent say .015-.025 moly stem coating flake off? are tools for that intended for stainless valves / heat only? thanks

    Yes you can
we did this years ago when we were poor :D
in fact Wizards Warehouse sells a tool to do this
we used a collet in a lathe and turn it slow by hand with dial indicator
use a brass bar to bump it and watch the indicator
never had one break doing it or after they were ground and run
you cant go after them like a trunk monkey hitting them with a hammer

Well I have straighted mine at .010 to .020 bent at the head not on the stem . They sell a tool for it but i use a collet on my bridgeport with a gauge to read how much the head is bent ,bend them .030 at a time so don't go crazy on it. Also If bent .007-.005 just cut them .

    Hope this helps!
