    Thanks Dave! All along I have been puttin the "boom" before the cold fuel. No wonder my car kept running 6.20... Thanks for clearing this up for me. haha

    What causes pistons valves and heads to deform or melt?

    Again its pretty simple.

    ive had the privlidge to run in the teens........but not on 96%.

    i hope to be in gainesville, but it looks like it will be a test session for me....as it will for many of us a/foolers.

    You are not supposed to tell them it is that easy! Every A-fuel car in the country runs 20's, right? But you forgot the biggest secret........it really is because the air in our plenum doesn't "stack up"! Its going "supersonic." :rolleyes:

    Here's a simple one to start with.....

    How did you run mid-twenties seven years ago with a combination that "won't work" and with a car that was almost 50lbs. overweight?

    what about the B/AD's

    at the fla race in west palm we were told by NHRA guy's that they wanted to slow BOTH cars down so what has been said about slowing the blown car's????? The number they were tossing around was 265 mph or less.

    we super sonic ed the crap out of lots of stuff on that run. but since than we figured out how to not do it..........we just cool the fuel to keep from melting stuff..........I WISH.
