Hey Guys,
Does anyone have a source for the clocks that are used in the piston and rod clocks like what is pictured here? http://www.tricktank.com/bobgilbertsonautographedrodclock-p-52.html I need one that will fit in a 2.5" big end and I either don't know what I'm looking for or just don't know where to look. Either way, I'm not having any luck finding one. Thanks a lot for your help.

Dan,

The late John Shoemaker from No. Cal. made some if not all of those clocks. Mine still works............

Clocks

Yep, I got them at Michael's and at Hobby Lobby both. Now I really wonder why they would carry little round clocks that just fit inside the rods. I suppose there must be a huge demand with all those nice looking aluminum rods out there. Or did Chrysler know about the clocks and make the journal sizes to fit them.... One of life's great mysteries.

Thanks Jim, that's pretty much the idea I had in mind. Hopefully it means something when I get done with it. Thanks a lot for all your help everyone, and have a Merry Christmas.
