Ceramic coating magnesium

    Just wondering if anyone has ever tried ceramic coating magnesium parts, ie blower case or injection hat.

    We did our BAE Mag Valve Covers 3 years ago and now they not only look pretty and do not get scratched up I will never have to redo them. I will never waste money on that ugly DOW coating that looks terrable in short time again.
    Next is the Mag Buzzard Hat we keep it polished now what a pain.

    ceramic coating

    Where did you guys have the coating done? Or can you do it yourself with some kind of kit?
