Upright Injector

    wich the best Upright Injectors ? GIBSON / AUTOMAN / ENDERLE / GERARDOT ?

    Automan, but you need a intake with his top. He makes 2 different ones.

    Bill Reichert runs the Gerdot inj. Hard to argue with the kind of success he has had. I have run the Enderle barn door but am using a Gerdot now. It is much easier to control the idle rpm under varing altitudes. It is very percise because of the round butterflies. If you know what you are doing they will all work and any of them will supply more air than the engine can consume. I have seen two 5.10 runs one car ran the old small Pete Jackson upright and barrelvalve and the other the Gerdot.

    dont count enderle out either....he makes a very nice injector thats easy to control as well....have had lots of success with his stuff.

    I switched from an Enderle bug catcher to the Enderle upright with the big round 5 1/4" butterflies. It is very easy to tune and idles great on a small block chevy...

    Anybody using Gerardot upright alky injector on screw type blower ? I saw a photo of a guy running this type of injector sideway over the blower inlet , i couldn't remember who . Does it work ?

    What was the size of the opening on your blower? Like to run a upright, but have the 10.5 opening. Any help is appr. Thanks Don

    I have a Gerardot upright on 14-71 HH Littelfield , last year a made a rear deflector plate inside the injector to help air flow from 12 inch injector down to 10 1/2 blower opening . This year i worked on the blower inlet to fit 12 inch injector opening.

    Did it increase boost, fuel consumption or top end speed?

    The first year with the Gerardot injector and deflector was with a new car/engine combo . Last year i had some problems and made only 4 programs , and can't tell if better or worst . Sorry.

    why do you want to run an upright, unless you want the air filter?

    I am trying to figure out if with a up right injector and a good scoop, helps the air turn smoother into the supercharger. Really would like to hear from people who know these things. Cheaper than that $32/3500 injector. Thanks Don

    Upright Injectors for sale

    One of the pullers is parting out his tractor and he has 4 upright injectors for sale, Gerrardo, in addition to KB motors, 8-71 super chargers, data aquisition and other parts.
