Hows your 60-ft? What kind of wheel speed are you getting and what are you launching at? are you getting shake or blowing off the tire? How fast are you 1:1 and are you seeing any separation when shifting?

Sorry to answer your question with more questions, just need more details because there is no single tune-up that will work for everybody.

60 foot around 1.17 , not shaking or blowing the tire off , the car starts to get a bit of a bounce on when it come of the concrete about 100 feet out and starts to load and unload the motor and it feels like the clutch has no slip at all to counter this .

Are you even close to tire shake at launch? Also, what pressure are you running your tires?

90g seems like a bit much, but I also forgot to ask what you shift at. If you're shifting at 9,000 or better, I'd drop the counter in VERY small increments, no more than 1g per lever per change. Driving through clutches gets expensive. I'd also up the base a quarter to a half turn if you're nowhere close to tire shake on launch and get that 60 foot under a second. See where that gets ya. It should help when transitioning too. Leaving @ 5000 doesn't really give you the massive lever effect you would see when shifting.

I've seen where the clutch isn't aggressive enough on launch and the levers really bite just past 60 ft. and the car will actually put itself into harmonic waves if the track is good enough to hold it. Just a case where you don't have enough wheel speed when transitioning.

Its a lot easier when dealing with my own clutches because we actually dyno the things with different setups and have actual plate load numbers. :)

that sounds like a ton of weight for no more horesepower i would take some weight off it will perform a lot better i would think when i ran a 10.7 3 disc crower i ran 2-1/2 turns of base and 48 grams and added more weight later on with my 10in. 3 disc crower 2-1/2 90 grms but im running more horsepower take a couple of grams each finger to start see if it improves and then adjust accordingly good luck

I think you could go immediately to the 48 grams that Jim recommends; we run 18 grams with no trouble, but we also shift at 10 grand.

    THANKS EVERY ONE

only shifting at 8000 , this car runs in a class that is a dial your own index we are only looking to run low 7's high 6's .
i will try the 48 grams and a bit more static .
the car came to me with this set up in it , but i think now it may have been set up for burnout displays the last time it was run with so much weight on it .

    cheers
