Hi guys, looking for a bit of help. I have a 125" blown sbc altered with a 'glide that has Goodyear 33x17x15 D6 rear slicks on it. My thoughts are these tyres are too hard a compound for an un-suspended car. I was looking at going with either a Hoosier 33x16x15 or a M/T 33x17x15 in a softer compound. What are you guys running and what works? Thanks.

Come on guys, there must be someone on here who runs a blown altered with 33" tyres, or has some experience with them.

here's my 2 cents....... cause that's all i can afford
for your application.....Hoosier! we ran them on our car for the last 5 years, best tire we have ever had....tried them all. we run a 500" hemi with a 14-71 HH and a clutch. we ran a 33.5x17x16, car loved them. hope this helps
i also sent you a PM

compound hardness is one part. hooziers has different side wall stiffness depending on weight. they make one for a 2100lb door car with a stiffer side wall. a softer one will be alittle easier on the hit. try calling the manuf. for a little more insight.
