Ford 6.4 Turbo Diesel

I am looking for some input on a 08 ford f350 super duty with a 6.4 diesel.I have a 2000 with the 7.3 and seams to have more power. But i have not towed with the 08. I hear they don't make the 7.3 anymore.

John, you heard right Ford did away with the 7.3 a couple or so years ago for the 6.0, a big mistake on Fords part IMO, I haven't heard alot of praise for the 6.0 as far as towing goes. but I haven't had the opportunity to drive one of the new for 08 6.4's yet so I can't give you a comparison. I have driven several different 7.3s, some seem like they can't get out of their own way, while some can pull like there's no tomorrow, so I'm sure the 6.4's (along with the other makes) are the same way, so if you can, take the 6.4 and give it a try, but don't ditch the 7.3 you have yet.
