I bet the NHRA loved that 5.16@282.

I thought it was cool though.

Lets hope they don't change any of rules in this class next year. That was a stunning run for temps that day.:) If the NHRA wants to change rules change them on the pro side of the sport because Tim Wilkerson got screwed with the stupid points system.

I think the humidity was 10% or less.

    Nice pass.

Once again 1 great pass could change everything even though the next 2 cars in the points are blown. What a joke!

    really

I'd really rather see them untie the hands of the blown cars than hit the A/Fuelers again, but to say 'one great run'....well thats a bit of an understatement.

How many runs by multiple cars were better than Whiteley's 5.27's this year?

just make a/fuel guys have there fuel the same temp or a min. as the blown guys in the staging lanes before they run , simple & no cost increase

When Bill ran the 16 it was in the heat and the air was not all that great, yet Collins was over watching us service Jimmy's car? We hear no changes will be made for next year?

    cool fuel

i know of at least one team that hauls ass pretty good that don't chill the fuel...least that's what they tell me....

i understand quite a few do though. i'm guessing there's more to it than chilling the fuel. i'd go on a limb and guess the difference between a .16 and .18? just a guess.

I agree with the first part of your statement big willy.I know of several teams that don't cool their fuel and only a few that do.
