i have BBC with moroso 2 peice pan and moroso external single stage pump. After burn out and stopping I back up and find a grapefruit size puddle of oil. Now I'm sure its leaking all the time but not a steady drip like you would expect from the puddle it leaves after burnout. I'm running about 10 quarts of oil. Puke tank is 4x4x8 rectangle with two moroso breathers. I can't seem to find where's it coming from at idle or even 3-4k rpms. I have a few theories and I am open to suggestions.
    1. Two much oil, forcing it out of front seal when stop. What is capacity of this system?
    2. I don't know that happens with blowers and blow buy when go from 7000 to 1200 rpms during burnout. Is puke tank not relieving pressure fast enough?
    3. I am changing crank hub seal, maybe its just leaking.

    Thanks for your input.

Are you running dual burn down tubes? We run 2 and dump into a dry sump tank with a single breather. This works great. I did have oil coming out of motor one time when my engine builder cut the wrong cross hatch in cylinders. Rings didn't seal good resulting in more blow by than the tubes could handle.

An easy way to check leaks is to block off all the vents : breather tube etc.. with a regulator put 2 to 3 pounds of air inside the motor and check the leaks with a spray bottle with a mix of water and liquid soap . even the smalless leak will do bubble.
