If I was a betting man (Which I am), I would say that Larry is driving to get a tune up so that Lucas can go for the championship later this season. Lucas didn't want to waste all his points earning events while Grimes is searching for the tuneup.

Seems like a cheeseball-type move to me. Had a feeling Forrest bought the wrong operation.

Pat, hindsight is always 20/20 isn't it. I think the car and the comination is good, but it does surprise me that he did not buy the car he drove all of last year. According to what I was told it was available. Like I said Ithink the car he bought was okay but the big risk he took was hiting the crew chief he did. No one can deny he knows his blown stuff, and he will sort out the combination before long, but there has to be a learning curve and the curve would not come in preseason . Having Miersch in the car proves how serious they are about winning. I think it is a very smart move personally. The family is taking the championship race very serious and it is showing how much they support the Sportsman class by doing this in my opinion. THeir 5.54 on Sunday was a great pass in the conditions. They are close to getting a handle on it.

Shields had a 2 car TAD team a few years ago, at least for a few races.

I don't think that was a team....I think it was more in lines of a rent-a-ride...(Carlson)

Don't forget that Jim Rizzoli is in that camp also. Both he and Grimes make the calls. Two very smart individuals. Great people, great team, and headed for a great future.

Morgan's car is great. Almost everything was identical......as far as controls go. The throttle pedal was a little different and was more difficult to cut a light with. The whole experience was great.
If needed I would love to do it again.

I was just there to help the Lucas team for the weekend. If needed I would love to do it again. That whole group is a great bunch. Not only are they fun but they are very efficient. Who knows what the future will bring. ;)

The Qwik Clean deal is still on. I actually work for the company. We are the only real competitor to simple green. If you need a serious cleaner/degreaser that works on everything then we have the product for you. This is not a niche product. This is the best cleaner/degreaser around. It is available on the west coast at Food 4 Less markets. We are always looking for opportunities to expand our distribution.
