Does anyone use the flaming river cordless timing light? Cost about $50 and operates on batteries. MSD has one too, but it's $200!

I like mine a lot. I have a FR light. They are priceless with a mag. Make sure you have spare D cell batteries however.

I have one and its way handy to use, I like it alot. I was using a battery setting it next to the car and a conventional timming light (way un-handy!)

    Timing light

I have used both and the MSD light is WAY brighter than the FR. I would buy the MSD if you have the money. If you have a tight budget buy the other.

I have had 2 of the Flaming River timing lights and currently have none that work. I had one that didn,t work when received. Probably don't have fen minutes total on both units. Going back to a battery and std. light.
