I've decided to add a new feature to the site, TAD and TAFC power rankings. It's our take on who's the hottest drivers in each class. The points may not always tell the tale, but our new Power Rankings will. Feel free to add your own!

    TAD

    1. Steve Torrence - Nobody hotter than "Steve O" and Tom Conway right now. One of the only A/Fuelers to have a handle on the hot weather.

    2. Hillary Will - Has been quiet for a while, with the Division 6 schedule about to heat up, so you'll hear back from the 'Girl Power' team soon. Top blown car in the country right now.

    3. Randy Meyer - Another one of the A/Fuelers that can run in the heat. Always a threat to win when they roll through the gate.

    4. Bill Reichert - Has shown he can flex his muscle in good air, showed signs of promise with Brainerd win.

    5. David Wells - Ran very strong in Joliet on his way to the finals, should shine this summer.

    6. Ken Perry - Joliet win shows they are a 'contenda.' A team to keep your eye on.

    7. Gene Snow - The Snowman has ran very strong down in Div. 4, enjoying a career season in TAD.

    8. Guy Kelly - This team is very tough on the divisional level, and always there on the national. Lack of Div. 2 races to date is the only reason he's not in the points chase now.

    9. Steve Federlin - Can leave on anybody in the class. Has a hot rod that really hauls as well. Will be interesting to see how this team does as the tour heads west.

    10. Marty Thacker: Showing signs of the old Marty Thacker we remember that was always at the top of the blown cars. May not stay down this far for long.

Just on the outside: Chris Demke, Duane Shields, Jeff Bohr, Jeff Wilson, Ashley Force

    TAFC

    1. Frank Manzo - Showed his dominance holding a few 'hun' on the field in qualifying at Joliet. Still has the car to beat when the Lucas Oil machine rolls through the gate.

    2. Bob Newberry - Has a car so consistent, he could bracket race it. Oh, by the way, it hauls too. It's actually a surprise when you don't see him in the final lately.

    3. Jay Payne - When the Valvoline Thunderslug is on,look out. A low e.t. threat anywhere he goes, just running out of races.

    4. Steve Gasparrelli - This perennial West Coast powerhouse showed they can run with the big dawgs with Chicago runner-up.

    5. Jackie Stidham - Doesn't show up often on the national scene, but carries a big stick when he does. Recent Topeka runner-up and last year's Jegs All-Stars crown show these guys can run with the best.

    6. Cy Chesterman - Defending World Champ still rules Div. 5, but hasn't shown the dominance they displayed last season. They could change that at any time.

    7. Jimmy Jones - The "Texas Tremor" team really has caused a rumble in Division 4, and we hope to see them bring this combo out in national competition soon to see how they stack up. Ran big MPH in Houston.

    8. Paul Gill - Any time you qualify No. 1 in Div. 1 with Manzo and Newb there, that's something special. Has the HP to run the big numbers, and the field should be thankful they don't travel much.

    9. Tate Branch - This team was right with the leaders before their fire in Shreveport, will be back strong soon.

    10. Bucky Austin - We really don't think he'll stay down here for long, but we just haven't seen much out of the 'Northwest Hitter' this year.

Just on the outside: John Weaver, Dennis Taylor, Mick Snyder, Chuck Cheeseman, Brian Hough.
