What was making the car smoke on Sunday?

 

We're not really sure yet.....we're going to start tearing it down tonight.

 

It's too bad you IHRA FC's have such different rules, be fun to see you guys/gal run a few NHRA races from time to time.

 

They really aren't THAT different (2 safety rules and a screw blower), but enough that it would be hard to have two combinations, since the roots blower can't run the big numbers like a screw blower can (but we're all trying to!).
The Canadians we race with who also race NHRA-type AFCs are really impressive at IHRA national events. My hats off to them--they come out swinging and do very well considering they only come out with a roots once a year at Edmonton (for the most part).
Maybe some day the sanctioning bodies will get along and something will happen!

 

Laurie, I did hear that when Jim Sickles ran both series he just changed the Blower over. Not that it's that easy to just spend mega $$$ on a PSi, but that's what I heard.
