Made my first runs Sat. with a Hans. All went well except for the fact that my helmet was pushed up by the air from 1/8 on. Anyone else have this problem? Tried my neck collar. Too tight.

Also, do you use a head sock or helmet skirt with the Hans? rule book is not clear

assuming you dont have a helmet to big for you, or chin strap loose. try a helmet strap. it helps from your head going back.;)

Don't mean to sound stupid but what do you mean by a duckbill?
Helmet fits good. Thought about the chin strap.
Didn't have this problem with the neck collar.
    Thanks for the reply, doug

not a stupid question man... it's just a little lip on the front edge of the helmet to catch air and counter the forces pushing back... here's a pic man

A taller wind screen would also help. Get the air up over the top of you. Made a big difference for us.

Ok, now Iknow what a duck bill is. I have an altered with no wind screen, just the body. I probably can use one for a dragster. I bracket race so I really do not want to use a chin strap because it will limit my head motion side to side. I will find a solution.
