let me preface this by saying im the driver LOL!!!! i have a set of brad fuel heads....... they are used ones formerly off of dean skuzas car........ how do i determine what heads they are? ie fat heads, stage 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ect.......... they reason im asking is that i was bolting them up earlier, and i must have either a different style stands, or rockers........ they bolt down fine..... the exhaust rockers sit right over the valves, and have nice clearance between the rocker and the retainer........ the intakes are another story alltogether. the rocker hits the retainer. i kinda toyed with the idea of making spacers to raise em up a taste. so i put washers underneath the stands trying to determine the thickness of the plates that i may have to make would be. that would help the clearance issues..... but the rollers are still clearly not gonna line up over the valves. the rollers are right on the bottom edge of the lash caps..... i know im gonna either need a different ratio rocker for the intakes, or different stands, or both....... so im trying to determine what kind of brad heads i have , so when i do go to buy whatever it seems i need i can at least know what im looking for........ again i appreciate your patience with a guy whos knowlege is kind of average at best.

skuza ran all fuel heads...you might have some AJ stands or Dart or even Ken Venny..if the heads are o ringed on the intake side they are late model..not o-ringed they are early style.Dean quit in 04 or 05...just remember early and late style take different manifolds..let me know if you need anything else..Dave

    rocker clearance

Try using tall lash caps. We had this same problem and used the tall lash caps and they also will improve the geometry.:)
