We're running a blown alky 526 KB w/ BAE fuel heads, 1471hh retro 25 over. We have a set of Moly Akerly&Childs rings. I called and they said the moly seals the best but is not very forgiving if your tune-up is off. We haven't ran this motor yet, so we're wanting to get all your opinions on what rings to start out with? Thanks for your opinions!

I use the Akerly and Childs Xtreme rings and have had no problems yet and I have been way off on the tuneup a couple of times

We also run the Akerly and Childs Xtreme rings, nothing fancy and they seem to work quite well in our cars.

We used SpeedPro Hellfire rings in nitrous and they are great. I know several blower cars that use Hellfire rings. My understanding is tthat they are made from the same material as the Xtreme rings. I was going to use Hellfires in our car but C&C Motorsports sent me the Xtreme rings and started me on them.

    Hellfire Rings

I personally run the C&A Extreme rings. I also believe they are the one in the same Hellfire and the C&a Extremes. They are excelent for blown or nitrous. Kevin

While we are on the topic of rings how many runs do people put on their rings before changing them. I watch the leak down but wanted to see about how much life a person could get from the rings before they are no good .
