    oil pan

Dave, I have one on there now. When the chutes deploy, no oil pressure. I have it apart now, so I want to rectify the problem. Wet sump, 71/2 deep in the rear. Have max amount of oil in it.
    Thanks

Glen, I use a Moroso 3 qt accusump. Not alot of extra weight and the extra 3 qt's makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Really the oil pressure never drops start to finish and it's super easy to install.

    oil pan

Glenn, If you don't mind my asking, what is the "max amount of oil"? I have a similar size pan that I fill just about up to the mains. I figure at least 5 qts of the pan oil is trapped up top of the engine by the end of the 1/4mi.

JM, we run about 14qts. Anymore and it pukes it out the breather hoses. Thanks for all the replies. I'll look into that Jody. The oil is sloshing forward obviously. I need to keep it trapped closer to the p/u or have the p/u follow the oil or both.

    no problems with swing pickup

We run an old 12 qt pan with center baffle and window with swing pickup. No problems with 6 sec blown hemi.

Thanks Bob and everyone else, and
jody. An oil accumulator apparently solved our finish line oil pressure problem.
