donivin hc 700 oil restrictors

I have a buddy that built a 680 in chev. deal n/a and he can not find out where to put the oil restrictors everyone tells him diff. things this is a big duke head 14to1 alk what would be a good start point for total timing it is in a boat so the heads never get over 170 deg I was thinking 40 running a msd 10 box thanks Craig
