It is an old Don Hardy Chassis, Had a 6.00 Sticker, but now has a 7.50 Sticker on it.

Engine is a 392" Donovan Hemi

Can be run on Alcohol, 30% Nitro, or 80% Nitro

Since the pictures were taken, it has a blower bag, headers are black, and underbody has been painted with fireproof paint.


Guy wants to trade it turn key for my Nova as a Roller... The Nova is a 25.4 M/S chassis.

Any thoughts?

No way I would trade. Sorry but I dont feel that car is worth within 5k of your car rolling. But I bet he would be happy to trade. Think of what you will do with the car, at least with your car there are lots of classes the car will fit. If it were a modern day roller I would say go for it, at least you can do some match race stuff, but the updates to bring that car to current cert would not be worth doing.

 

Oh you mean like this car, that only needed helmet bars, and one
more diagonal for the k in the rear end, and turned out to be Ken Veneys first Veneys Vega.

....what ever, Supersticious is a great vega funny car, and if I would have had 30k 1 1/2 year ago
I would have got it in a heartbeat, and racing it right now, match race,. exhibition,. whatever,..
its anyones choice to pick and choose what car one wants and to do with
it how they please.,..
Oh yea,..can you smell the nitro already ????
