Spiro Kontos, team owner of KonRodz Racing would like to announce
that TJ Schippling will no longer be at the controls of our Alcohol Funny
Car. It was a mutual understanding between both parties to part way's
and we wish TJ continued success with his dragster. We have since passed
the driving duties over to Jason "The Viking" McKnight. Jason has been working with driving and tunning icon Al Billes at his Al Billes Racing race shop in Barrie-Ontario for number of years. We are confident that we are now finally
on the right road to having this race team running its 1st national race for 2008,
possibly at the Canadian Mopar National July 18 - 20
Jason and our crew of Marquis, Joe, Cassie and Stefan have been working extremely long
hours to make sure that everything is right. These guys have put there heart and
sole into this team and I can honestly say they are the best.
Kontos, would also would like to thank Lucas Oil Products Inc, Dixie Chopper, AutoMeter,
NGK Spark Plugs, Mechinex Wear, Direct Waste Systems Inc, Recyco Environmental Inc,
Pak-Rite Industries, Extreme Wheel & Tires, without there continued support things would be a lot different.

Thanks Mike. I am confident that this is the best possible road for us. Jason is the right choice to drive this beast.

I guess the truth hurts. I have always told it like it is.

    Food for thought...

Ever think that may be why you have a high turnover rate in crew?

Your probrably right, not only is Drag Racing a hobby but it's also a business; when your paying most of the bills yourself. The truth is the truth. I dont tell people off but when i see something wrong i'll "voice my opinion".

being on a crew you just have to be thicker skinned some times if not you will get your feelings hurt, get mad ,and ouit ....ect expecially when the one paying the bills gets reved up over something but he is paying the bills and if you love the sport let it roll off your back and do a better job next time
