Fawn (Paul's fiancee) said she is being transported from a hospital in Joliet to a trauma center in Chicago. She has a skull fracture on the back of her head and will know by test results whether or not she has a broken hip. Good news is she'll be okay.

She fell through the hole in the floor on the second story of the trailer. She was helping to carry the body out and they had taken the cover off the hole to get better ventalation while working in the trailer during the rain on saturday. I also talked to Fawn but just know about the skull fracture. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

Paul Anderson is heading back to Denver to take care of the family business responsibilities. He called me with an update and asked that I post the following:

Phemia did fall through a "man hole" on the second floor of the transporter. She was transported to a Trauma Center in Chicago with a fracture at the base of the skull. As of now there is no apparent swelling and/or bleeding; however, the doctors will keep her for a couple of days (with Dennis by her side) for observation.

Paul says she still has good spirits and her sense of humor because she smiled and said she really feels like an old woman now!

The Anderson family & crew would like to extend their gratitude to all of the people that helped them at the track, as well as, those expressing concern for Phemia's well being. They would ask that you keep Phemia in your thoughts and prayers with hopes of a speedy recovery.

I will try to update this thread tomorrow when I hear more.

    Thanks Schaun and Doug.

Prayers and thoughts, glad to hear she's doing well and that there are no hip complications. We just got another call confirming that as well.

    Please give them our best!!!

    Take care,
    Nancy

Paul's fiance' has shared this information with me:

    schaun,
phemia is doing well. getting around is quite tough and painfull .we are patiently waiting for the concussion to wear off. she came home last night, to be close to home and advise a neuro specialist here. we are very fortunate that the outcome wasn't any more than it is.she is insistant on racing this weekend, so we will make sure she takes it easy and is super carefull. shes quite the trooper!!!!!!!!!
our hearts are touched by everyone that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers.

    thank you for everything,
    fawn
