I received this email last night:
Last Friday was the end of Torco Racing fuels. The feds shut them down, according to my buddy Orval Bradburn who drives the semi to the tracks. He took the last of the nitro and alky to Milan Mi. for the IHRA points meet on Sunday and is now unemployed. You guys probably already knew this, buy I got it from the horses mouth. This is going to be an interesting year. Museum Dave

Key word in the above is that the Feds shut him down, my sources tell me they got him for income tax evasion. I also heard that no body seems to know where Evan and Latrell are...

Can't say I didn't see this coming

 

Hope the check he wrote to IHRA didn't "bounce"! Ive been hearing some unsettling things also. Let me know when the auction is

If you didn't hear it from Evan, you didn't hear it from the horses mouth, you heard it from the horses ass. I don't know Evan or Latrell, I know Terry McMillen a little. This is how rumors get started. Don't turn this site into a trashing forum like the Mater was. Just shutup and see what happens. Besides, gossip is a sin for all those who don't know that.

 

These 2 are stand up guys, and I will only believe it when they decide to hold a press conference. There are a lot of guys on here who can stretch a litte story into a huge nightmare. Lets wait and see.

 

All I'm going to say is I talked to one of their distributers today......All I'm going to say is some of you suck-ups are going to look.........

 

how do you know they are stand up guys? are you personal friends?
they already lied about the interuption for 2008 that all employee's
would keep jobs and benefits, then without notice the fire them on
the spot, i know people they canned.
plus people dont hold press conference's that they are in trouble
with the federal government
you cant you even buy torco here in sw mich?

 

I have had the pleasure in meeting both of them and that is why I say this. No matter what, they will need the air so that is why I say that I will wait to here it from them. Lets remember that they have families too, so lets stop shitting on them on here. I don't think that it is up to us to judge them this way. If they are guilty them they will get theres.

 

Well said Konrodz. They have done a lot for our sport and do not deserve the harsh criticizism.

 

for those who dont know in big bussiness there there are people in place to take care of things for you and you trust they do a good job and you dont have a hand in every thing that is done in your own bussiness and you only hear about some things when shit goes wrong then you as a owner is the one throwed under the buss because its your name a stake then all thre rumors start dealling with the feds is bad enough in any manner over a small error they can sieze your bank accounts padlock your doors what ever they want to do i know a little about this first hand but on a smaller scale and it took me a year and a half to get it straightend out so dont be so quick to judge it could be you next and its not fun at all

I can understand why your pissed at them, I own my own business and yes it hurts when people screw you. In todays economy there will be a lot of people being screwed daily. I have been screwed by people that I have let into my team, family life and into my heart, so I know feel your pain. I still would wait until judgement day before I started bad mouthing them. I would at least
wait until its out there on legal paper and then try to collect my money from the trustie.
