Looking at getting an offset drive suit BB/C. Which brand do you guys recommend & WHY?

 

I have 4 of the Dunn now and need 3 more !!!!!!!!!

 

So which ones do you prefer

I prefer the Sitko mag drives, but then, I might be a little biased (lol).

Seriously though, we have never broken a part on them, very reliable.

My guys use the Sitko in the Fuel car Hemi's !!!

Does George ? make them for a Chevy too ??????

 

I vote for the Sitko front mount mag drive for chevy. I needed one in a hurry and George custom made it for me and had it in my hands within 72 hours. I like that the drive can be ordered with the extension you need as one whole piece. No having to bolt the drive on an extension like the RCD unit. Cost a little less as well and sure seems more solid. When you call George he answers the phone (every time) and will build you what you need not try to sell you on what's on the shelf.

 

Wizbang, do you get much retard in the timing with the Dunn. If so does the problem lie in the belt stretch or is the shaft twisting. Do some of the other drives retard more than others?

 

Haven't ever worried about it. Honestly. At this point I wouldn't know any different ????????????
