Crank Hub clearance

    Does anyone have any reccom. numbers for the interfearance fit for a Tit. crank hub and crank snout. I have .005 now. Ati says .0007 /.0009. That seems awful loose to me. This is for A-fuel . Thank you Don

    .005 is a lot of interference. I doubt it would go on without cracking the hub. Titanium does not expand as much as steel and I would think as the crank heats up and expands the fit would get tighter. Jmho...

    My 2 cent opin would be round bout kinda like pretty close to a tight 001 for Ti and bout two tenths looser for steel.
