burnout limitter

    just REMEMBER...just because it clips on you can still over rev. the motor...in a k style barrel valve I think 1/8 or 1/4 the fuel flow is all open the blower is makin boost the ports are commin open and maybe the hi speed is also so that means the motor is going to over rev...if you don't think so let me send you some pics of this weekends race lost a valve in the burn out and yes...had the burn out limiter on....the compt. said way over reved...Brian Ratleff and Tom conway will tell you the same thing as I'am..trust me...cause it sucked...for now on all I do is look at tach and count to 4 and get out of the burn out the car will go straight...good luck and if you want a good clip on get it from Bob Auto..Automan....Dave Lowe

    I just bought a Automan and need to trim it up a bit for my setup. What do you think the best RPM to set it up at running on the stands? I usually rev mine in the burnout around 5000-6000 RPM depending on the track?
