A friend blew up his glide last weekend which got me thinking about replacing my glide. We have a old 3 speed lenco set up and I am thinking about the lenco and Bruno converter drive units. Any advantages with one over the other ?

i own 2 bruno/lenco set ups for 2 different dragsters. several times i have loaned internal parts from my lencos to lencodrive owners who have had internal problems. another reason i run the bruno/lenco set up is that in less than 20 minutes i can change the lenco when i want to run different ratios. that time frame for changing ratios is not an option with a lencodrive. the only time i hurt a bruno was my fault - i tried to run it with low air pressure and hurt the band -but it gave me a chance to go inside it whereas i normally would not. both the bruno/lenco + lencodrive require air for the shifter servos. andy b.
