    Be careful, the Pro 1 heads are a thinner casting than the 320/360 race series.

    I've got 25 lbs of boost on the 345's and have no problems at all ! We run them at 8300 rpm.

    Brian;

    Keep in mind, you're not running a SSI F-Rotor at 35% over on a 12.5:1 motor either.

    I would think?That you are about at the Limit???
    But,theres 2 things that you could do?
    1-Fill the Heads?
    2-Sell them and put a Solid Casting on!That is while there still Selleble?Cause,once you go to far.....................?

    Now, I like that idea.

    And yeah, once you fill them, it's pretty limited on application. There's been a set of filled heads on Racing Junk now for over 6 months. Guy can't hardly give them away.

    yeah i would love to sell them and get a set of solids but at this point i cant afford to do that. just bought a truck and got everything up and running. i get 35 to 38lbs with the setup i have. i would like to spin the blower faster to see if it would help.what do you fill them with? and if you hurt one after filling them can you still fix them

    You would Fill them with Hard-Block Compound.This is what you Fill a Block with.I know Years ago there were some Guys filling them with Devcon?
    Not problem fixing them,once they have been filled!
    But,if you fill them?Then the Market Closes in on the Value!!This is what you want to think about?As of now you could sell these to almost anyone,because they could have Water ran thru them for cooling purposes.Once they are Full,ALKY or FUEL ONLY!!!
    There are Good Deals on Solid heads out there?Like these Bob Morgan Billets that i have?Another Good Choice is a Old set of Dart 360's.Which is a Very Versital Cyl.Head!
    Just Something to Keep in MIND>?

    I had a set of 427 pontiac heads and was told 45 lbs of boost was about all they would take.I ran them for 4 years mud racing with no problems.I saw an add on here for a set of billet BAC-MAN heads and bought them and turned around and sold the pontiac heads for the same money I paid for the Billet heads. I had to buy a set of pistons but I now have piece of mind. So you can make the change pretty economicaly. Another friend of mine has a set of the 360 heads and has had no problems with 45lbs of boost either.
