Will single plug valve covers work on dual plug heads ??
When I look in the plug holes they don't line up with the
holes in the valve covers they are off to one side.
Just wondering if the plug tubes will seal right with this off set ??? Or do I need dual plug valve covers and block off one hole in the covers ???

    valve covers

your single plug valve covers will work on your dual plug heads. You do have to block the other spark plug hole in the head. At least with BAE and total flow heads

Yes I have blocked off the other plug hole.
I don't have the plug tubes yet but it seems like the plug tube will go in on an angle. And seems like it won't seal ???
Also they are AJ2 billet fuel heads.

I have blank plugs in the holes.
If I could ask you one more question.
I was told that if I use 172cc fuel heads on alcohol my car would never run right and never lay a number down.
They also told me I should never use any more than 92cc heads with alcohol.
Now that you told me you use them on your funnycar
I know that couldn't be true. Am I right assuming this jim ??? What is your input on this ???
Anyone else using 172cc fuel heads with alcohol,
With what kind of results ???

Pat Austin and Bob Newberry won ALOT of races with big chamber heads. yes, the Brad stuff runs better........but you can still run very well with big chamber stuff. just my 2 cents

well im not sure what your tring to accomplish but im sure i dont know as much as some of the guys on here i have run 3.97 in the 1/8 and 6.17 235mph in the 1/4 with the old brad fuel heads and i have seen other guy run even faster with them and that was over ten years ago and im sure you could run 5.90s with them if you had a good fuel system and a good clutch set up now after saying that if i had the money i would have a new set of venney heads because i have run those before and i dont know any thing about the fat heads i know that with the old fuel heads is that you want to get the piston as close to the head as you can with out hurting any thing for the best performance the old fuel heads is what came on this car and i can run 3.90s on a good 1/8 mile track

    good luck jim
