1320tv has an interview with Schu and he says he pays around $550 for a drum (his final cost) of nitro when he imports it from China . He also talks about the fine .

This jack up in pricing of nitro is the biggest scam ever by NHRA and a vendor. Just once I would like to see NHRA help the racer instead of scimming $$ from them. Anybody else notice that the Valvoline oil deal at the National events has gone away. There is a marketing co. handeling the product now at the racers and they cut out the 1/2 price to racers if you run their sticker deal.
Looks like the racer is catching it from every direction. Don't even mention the increase in diesel costs now. NHRA has no symphaty for the racers inflated costs. If they did they would take some of the Hawaii money and increase the purse for the first time in the last 10 years in TAD & TAFC.
This is the first thing that needs to be addressed by the new committe.

ridiculous situation... same as the goodyear tires issue.

if graham had a weapon on him it would be called 'armed robbery'

and if you or i set up the monopoly and forced racers out of their money we would probably be in jail

edit: before someone jumps in here to tell me how 'i don't have to race'... yeah i know no one forces us to race and anytime we don't like how nhra does things we can pack our junk in the trailer and leave. yeah and we can all stop buying gas from OPEC and exxon-mobil too

it's just a sh*tty way to do business in my opinion. (well i better go... don't wanna miss nhra when they call me to solicit my opinion lol!)
