    Goodyear tire compounds

D-1 = Soft- Good Wear, Better Traction
D-2 = Med- Good Wear, Good Traction

The lower the number the softer the compound.
The lower the number the faster it wears out.
The lower the number the less burn out needed.
Compounds go from D-1 through D-11 not all compounds available in all sizes.
