    Thanks Gary

I remember meeting Gary and Steve years ago while working with Dan Romans Ablosute Pleasure team. From the first time we met, the passion both Steve and Gary displayed for the sport was inspiring. Gary's determination allowed him to push through tremendous adversity to become a world champion. In 1995 I also suffered a serious accident which changed my life forever. I remember getting a call from Gary while still in ICU, he threatened to come to Daytona and beat my ass if I didn't suck it up and fight to walk again. "hell I'm living proof that the doctors don't know a damn thing" I'm not sure if Gary ever realized how his words inspired me. Everytime I felt depressed I would think of what he said and what he had accomplished. After two years I took my first steps, it was Gary that gave me the strength to walk again, Thanks Buddy!. I didn't stop there, I was determined to follow my dreams, once again inspired by Gary, I began racing supercomp motorcycle, then top gas, and currently I am living a dream. I am the owner and pilot of the Ballistic Eagle Jet Powered Motorcycle holding the records for the quickest and fastest turbine motorcycle in the world. I am honored to have known Gary, and can only hope that he knew how many lives he touched. God Bless

Farewell to a great Friend and Racer

Gary and Steve were one of the first teams to take me under their wing when I first started competing in IHRA National events. They offered all they had and gave unselfishly of their time and effort to point me in the right directions. I could always count on Gary's and Steve's welcoming smile at the many tracks we competed. Gary will be missed as a human being, but most important as a dear friend to me. Steve, press on and continue to love the sport as much as Gary did. Your fiend, Tony Garanzuay
