I've switch to a 44 amp mag, (tad) and been using 8 mm wires for my old system.
Will the 8 mm work or is something else recomended. Thanks for the space John.

John, Were you using solid core wires or spiral wound? Solids don't work with the MSD 44. They will, but nothing electronic will work within miles of your car. Siral wound is what's recommended. 8mm is ok, just keep a close watch for pinholing. They like to burn through to groung rather than fight against the boost and compression. If you change your wires yearly, change your coil wire 8 times more often. You'll be surprised what you find there.

I totally agree with the coil wire change. I watched ours burn up during a warm up. Only had about 10 runs on it.

Thanks for the info. I'm using 8.5 spiral wound wires. John
