Hi, I have a Kobleco Superman K9 blower on a 526ci Fat 5 KB, and am looking at increasing overdrive from 29% to 34%. Can anyone give an indication on how much more boost am i likey to see. It makes 39psi at 9000rpm at 1500ft of air currently.

    Thanks in advance

I would have to estimate a 2 lb increase in boost.

It will probably be more than 2. We run a standard rotor, non retro 14/71. At 30 over it was making 33lbs, at 37.5 over it makes 40lbs. Your K9 Superman is a lot more efficient than ours. we run ours on a 427 SBC.

One has to be careful when speeding up a roots blower , especially if it is set up to run at lower OD speeds (not saying this is the case here) . It is pretty easy to turn one into a heat pump instead of a supercharger . A lot of things play into the mix like top opening length , shape , end clearances and so on .
