Hello, in the finishing stages of my motor, blown alcohol BB Ford, 15-20 pounds of boost max. Crank has Chrysler rod journals and Ford mains. I have the Clevite "V" series mains already but need rod bearings. Using aluminum rods with the dowel hole and have a Velasco billet crank. What rod bearings should I use? This is my first blown alcohol motor. Thanks, Chris

I always use a Clevite H series on a low boost engine combo. Try to set them up at .003 to .004 clearance and read them often when you first start making passes. The H series should be good for 75+ passes if the tuneup and oil system are working good.

I've been using King bearings... Last set I pulled out looked like ass, but the crank was perfect, so they did their job.
