Has anyone here ever tried or experimented with VP race fuels M5 methanol? I am just wondering how different it was from running regular methanol? I just got a barrel of it in and we are planning on running it in an open wheel circle track car next month. Wondering how much fatter (% wise) I should run the main? Is the addtional power noticeable? Just curious if anyone has had any experience with it.

We got some but have not tired it yet but every one that I talk to said that it picked them up close to a 10th in the 1/8 mile and that they did not have to do much changing are you using Injection or a carb I was also told that M5 was for Injection and M3 was for Carbs. We tried the M3 and did not Like it we have 30 to 40 gallons of M3 for sale

Thank you for your reply. We are running it in our injected midget next month, we will probably just have to keep a close eye on the tune-up and make changes as needed. I guess we will see if it helps.
