The direction of the mag can be changed by MSD if needed.

pros and cons....I've ran mallory stuff for years, and love it...we run in the 5's with no problems. I have friends running msd stuff and have a lot of trouble with there boxes when they have tire shake..true msd is more state of the art lets say and mallory. Mallory is more cave man stuff but it is simple, but its fool proof..far as spare parts all i take in spares is points..rotor and a cap...and I might add they probly have cobwebs on them:)..plus it;s a lot cheaper than MSD.. but don't think Iam here knocking MSD stuff it is very nice stuff we use it on our blown flat bottom boat with a blown big block..but this thing uses the electronic distributor..not a mag..this thing is more show than go:)..I hope this helps good luck with eith choice..Dave Lowe ta/d

    44 mag

second wind, we have been running the msd 10 plus ignition on this combination which is 547 BBC brodix -2 heads 8-71 littlefield hat and port nozzles 110 pump everything flowed and checked by dennis piranio preformance engines, this combination ran 4.01 1/8 mi. in fuel altered, so we are in the process of doing some changes, we are going to a scs billit 14-71 and a mag. instead of trying different this and thats we would bit the bullit and get the msd 44 and not have to worry about ignition woe's, by the way anyone had any experience with this particular blower, this is the first for us.:D:)
