I am putting together an Arias for a friend, and wonder if anyone has any experience with the cam timing. The oddity here is that the camshaft is way high in the motor; the lifters and pushrods are oriented horizontally, so they are 180 degrees apart. I checked the cam timing before I took it apart, and it was at 29 degrees. It was run in a boat before, and ran pretty well, so that might be a safe place to start. I was wondering, due to the different configuration, if the timing would be different from a regular type hemi?

    Ken,
We truck and tractor pull. We run three two wheel drive pulling trucks, all with either 8.3 liter arias/fontana/mbr and also the 10L Arias engines. We typically run about the same cam timing in both. Anywhere from 32-36 degrees cam timing, depending on the grind. Hope this helps. Jessie Petro

Sorry about that, Nathan's been pre-occupied the last few days trying to buy a truck.

If you need parts for the Sitko mag drives, please call my dad (George) directly at 562-243-0482.
