Hi everybody. Were new at this so please be patient. Looking for any and all info. regarding the B&M mega-blower series for B.Blk. Chevy. Info. that I can provide is that its not a GMC configuration its 4 7/16 bolts (2 frt. and 2 rear),dual 780 double pumper Holleys. Someone said that Holley bought the complete supercharger series from B&M but no info. on either website. I was going to actually phone them but figured Id post here first. Were interested in info., rebuild, and then post in the classified section. Im into Mopars not Chevys. I picked it up from a friend with serious medical problems and bills. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You:)

may be able to help you a little.
First of all, the guys here are all out, race only so, you are posting your question on the wrong forum but I can get you to the right place.....

Weiand bought either the B&M blower line or the whole B&M business, not sure. Weiand has now dropped the B&M blowers and any repairs.

You will have better luck with answers at WWW.hotboat.com
Register for free and check out the blower engine forum. Do a search for B&M blowers and you will have tons of reading.

I had a 420 mega blower kit but never used it. Sold it a few weeks ago.
The B&M line of blowers are street blowers and the 420 is good for about 6-8 PSI max. It's a 2 lobe blower with no helix to the rotors. A lot of guys use them on boats (and cars) for low boost applications. Some have had trouble with taking out bearings in the front. There are places who will re-build it for you. These blowers are considered a long life blower so, you may not even need it repaired? I know you are a car guy but hot boat will give you the information you are looking for.

    Be good, Jim

    B&M Blower

I helped a guy out with one on a Bonneville car. Back then, Mike Kuhl did a nice freshen up on it. They are built loose for long life, but a reputable blower shop should be able to "tighten" it up a bit for you. Just have to call around - JR maybe?? I think if you break it - toss it.
