A/FUEL does not run a multi stage clutch, it is a centrifugal
lockup clutch,.. no stages,..no air cannon, no timers.
A/fuel needs the motor to be loaded and pulled down
to make its power,..where as the blown alcohol motors need the
Rpm to keep the blower spun up for boost, thus using the 3 spd
to keep the power band at upper levels, using a rear 4.30 gear in
a blown car you need the gear changes,.1 to get off the line and
2 and 3 to get to the finishline without expiring the rpm limits of
the blower motor, lets say 10,200 rpms.
