Sonny's Custom Manifolds & Intakes

I talked to Sonny's Racing engines this week and he said they made some blower manifolds and intakes where you could pull the heads and leave the blower and manifold on the block. I have seen one of the Minor Brothers motors that was designed to do that but never with big chief style heads. Anybody got any good photos or success stories???

not to sound like a smart a$$ but why would you pull the head and not want to pull the manifold and look inside

 

reasons

change valve springs, head gaskets, put new rods in, put new rings in. thats just stuff we do, while leaving the intake and supercharger on the vehicle. It is a good idea to pull the intake off and look at the cam and lifters, but sometimes time is not a friend. That is one handy thing being able to pull the heads off and not have to mess with the blower or intake. just my opinion.

a buddy of mine had a big duke intake made but it did have the valley on it but try calling weinle motorsports 513 353 1067 this cat can more than likely make one and he can weld like a master all we did was send him a piece of metal for a pattern of the end of the heads he knows everything else good luck craig moss
