Speed Limit

AFD read Burke's report about proposed seed limits for the class. Guess we are starting to threaten the PROs

 

I haven't read that one yet, but my initial reaction is that I don't like it. Part of the appeal of TAD for me IS the speeds that the top teams are running. I love seeing 270+ mph blasts and the low 5.1's/high 5.0's when we see them.

If the powers that be are concerned about fan "confusion" I don't think they need to be - as much as I love TAD's, I would never ever confuse one for TF. Perhaps a less hard-core fan might, in fact I've overheard people saying, "that's a top fueler" when a B/AD is warming up in the pits but that has more to do with neutering the TF with 85%.
