Adjusting Barrel Valve

Hey all! Getting ready to take our blown/alky small block ford to the engine dyno. We ran it in the car first to make sure all was well. We leaked the barrel valve to 75%. What's the best way to dial it in so it's not blowing raw alcohol out the exhaust? I do have egt's in all cylinder's. Thanks for the help!

 

has the spool been modified?

 

No, it's just a Enderle K Valve. I wasn't sure if 75% was a good place to start or not on the leak down. Is it possible to have the spool 180 off to where it's not forcing through the idle ck and is just pushing all that alcohol through the motor?

how do you leak what lines do you cap or plug ?

 

...that's a very good question. We capped off the hi press relief and idle check, and left the port and hat outlets open.
