Blower oil

    What's the best oil for a duel gear roots blower?

    I run 75-90 valvoline sythetic and have never had a problem.

    According to SSI and Kobelco it is the 75-90 gear oil. And the most recommended was the Red Line Shockproof synthetic gear oil but I would say that any suyntetic gear oil would work great. I asked them about 2 cycle oil and they both say it didn't supply the impact protection for the gear teeth.
