    Hey all,

We recently purchased a new set of Comp Cams lifters and had one set fail 4 or 5 runs into use for no apparent reason. Rollers are still in good shape, didn't beat up the cam, just busted the ears off and made a mess of everything aluminum in the motor.

Just wondering who's lifters are the best for the money, who runs what?

Our deal is a roots blower TAFC, 511 ci, BAE 5 fat heads, raised cam, std. size spread bore lifters.

    Thanks everyone!

When we got our first "Brad" motor they sent Crane lifters with the parts. We have used Crane since then with no problems.

Morel and have had zero prob's, no needle/axle crushing, and think with either cryo or surface treatment, any body to bore prob's disappear.
