blower overdrive

    does anyone know how much i could overdrive my small block chevy dart block. i have a 10:71 hi helix on a dart little m block honed to 4.185.brodix -8 heads with 38cc chambers, 12:1 compression block is oringed ,but do not have the reciever groove in heads yet. remember i only run around 150 feet. i am at 30% over right now am just wondering how much more i can go and be safe? any ideas?

    That sounds like a good bit of compression. If you increase your OD, I would take baby steps (2-3% at a time) and be prepared to add a little fuel with it. I am amazed at the OD TAFCs run (or ran before the 92% rule). They must have a wagon wheel on the bottom and a thimble on top!

    I would reccomend getting your o-rings in the heads before adding any more boost.

    usually runs around 7200 to 7600 have seen 9600 before i bought a rev limiter. and got it to hook up better
