Looking to buy data computer fro my pro mod. What is the best of the two rpm or race pak. Race pak seems so expensive. Appreicate the input.

    Thanks,

Racepak is what you pay for, however, if you want solid data without spending big $$$ go with the RPM system. WE've been using the RPM system on out TAFC for about a year now. The system is loaded out, we're running 24 channels. And, the software is easy to use.
I admit, the Racepak system does have a few options that would be nice. But for the money we are a satisfied customer.

I have had the RPM data logger for over a year and it has not missed a beat the hole time. It is easy to use and has been very dependable. The support that they give you when you call them was great also. Here is a link to Neil Chance were I bought mine and they have all the info for each system on there web site.

Randy is a close buddy of mine. He has never had any part of Racepak he was the developer of the unit for AUTO Meter and several others. I own a Racepak V 300 with a Dash and one of Randy's Rpm Units also. My Pro Mod has the Race Pack and the Rpm unit is on my outlaw car. I like them both and for the price the RPM unit is way above. As long as you are not trying to run a Dash and run Top fuel car the RPM unit is the one to buy. However I do know he has on a Top Fuel Funny Car. He is alos working on a dash. He is the developer and he is the one that answers the phone, no Tech guy, just the MAN.

    RPM customer service = A+

You have to send the cables back to Randy at RPM to have the ends installed after you cut them to the length of your application. I mailed my cables on Monday afternoon and got them back on Friday morning, the same week! This was via the post office, San Diego to Oklahoma City and back. A public 'Thank You' to Randy on the excelent service.
