Hi Speed Leanouts

    Need advise on what pressure to set high speed leanouts.
    Currently running a mild 8/71 blown hemi. 990 pump (with a pump sizer).
    I have one highspeed leanout already set at 50lbs (with a 060 pill) and I want to add a second high speed to take more fuel away in high gear.

    Any suggestions on what pressure to use for the second hi speed lean out?

    I'm going to assume that you have a three speed trans? if not you can hook it to a two speed. what I'm talking about is a normaly closed valve, that opens whan you shift it to high gear, then you don't have to worry about pressure, just what jet to use. Good luck. :)

    Are you running a data logger? If so, look at the fuel pressure on the graph. Start at the pressure mid-way through high gear and work back. Just remember, it will be on at the top of the other gears as well. If you only want it on in high gear, go with Eli's advice.

    I run a 3 speed air shifted Lenco. Its a simple Nostalgia FED, so no computer. Gene, is the valve you describe electricaly operated, or air operated from the Lenco shift button?
    Where can I get one?

    It is air operated. We got ours from Wizards Warehouse. (501)825-8540
    You need a normally closed valve, a 20# check with a pill holder. It will take jets like your main pill. You may need to get that stuff from Enderle.
